Marqo is Swiss software that turns a business's expertise into short videos for social media. AI writes the script from your content strategy. You film with the Prompteur Marqo app (iPad or Android tablet), controlled by the Camera Marqo app (iPhone or Android). Marqo then edits the video, adds animated captions and AI-generated overlay cards, dubs it into your target languages (up to 32) and schedules it on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube.
Freelancers, small businesses and companies that publish organic content on social media and want to appear on screen themselves. The teleprompter lets you film without memorising your script. Marqo is especially useful for businesses that communicate in several languages, as in Switzerland with French, German and Italian. Marqo does not create AI avatars: you are the one speaking on screen. It is not designed to run paid ad campaigns.

You can create a free account in Discovery mode. It lets you explore the app, set up your content strategy and connect your social accounts, but not generate content: generating scripts, videos and posts starts with a subscription. You can also book a free 20-minute discovery video call.
Every plan includes 1 language. Additional languages are available on the Pro and Business plans, at 70% of the plan price per language per month: CHF 209 with Pro, CHF 349 with Business. The Starter plan is limited to 1 language. Example: publishing in French, German and Italian on the Pro plan costs 299 + 2 × 209 = CHF 717 per month. Every piece of content is then adapted automatically into all three languages.
Yes. Plans are monthly with no minimum commitment. You cancel from Settings > Subscription > Manage subscription, which opens Stripe's secure billing portal. Billing is in CHF.
Up to 32 languages: French, German, English, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Finnish, Polish, Czech, Slovak, Hungarian, Romanian, Bulgarian, Croatian, Ukrainian, Russian, Greek, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Hindi, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Malay, Filipino, Tamil, Arabic and Turkish. For the Swiss market, you can combine French, German, Italian and English. Each version is adapted to its culture rather than translated word for word, and a per-language glossary keeps your terms consistent.
No. German versions are in standard German (Hochdeutsch): Swiss German is not one of the 32 languages. Standard German is also the written language expected for captions in German-speaking Switzerland.
AI voice-over is included in the Pro (30 voice-overs per month) and Business (50 per month) plans, not in Starter. Dubbed versions in other languages require additional languages, which are also limited to the Pro and Business plans. Dubbing is powered by ElevenLabs technology: your own voice is carried over into the target language, and the captions and cards are translated.
For a video of one to six minutes, allow about 15 to 20 minutes of filming, depending on how many passages you redo, then 5 to 10 minutes to review and adjust the edit in the editor. Marqo prepares the script, captions, dubbing and publishing.
An iPad or Android tablet with the Prompteur Marqo app, and an iPhone or Android phone with the Camera Marqo app. The phone films and controls the teleprompter remotely: start, stop, move between sections. The script scrolls at the pace of your voice thanks to speech recognition, and the teleprompter works offline once scripts are synced. The DJI Mic 2 wireless microphone is supported. Both apps are free.
Marqo removes silences, assembles your takes in script order and adds background music that automatically lowers while you speak. It also adds animated captions, zooms and graphic cards. Videos are produced in vertical 9:16 (TikTok, Reels, Shorts) or horizontal 16:9 (YouTube). The Studio editor then lets you fine-tune the result and also offers the 1:1 square format.
Marqo offers 13 animated caption styles: Classic, Glow karaoke, Pill karaoke, Bold box, Highlighter, Kinetic slam, Neon, Gradient, Boxed, Minimal, Wipe, Editorial and Glitch. Keywords are highlighted automatically, and your chosen style applies to every language version. It also offers 9 types of animated cards: follow, comment, counter, call to action, chart, lower third, review, notification and annotation. The AI reads the transcript and suggests cards at key moments, such as a figure or a call to action.
Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube, at the date and time you choose. Blog articles can be published to WordPress, Ghost, Webflow and Medium. Marqo does not publish to X (Twitter).
The website, the database and your files are hosted in Switzerland by Infomaniak. Payments are processed by Stripe. Some AI processing is handled by specialised providers: text generation, dubbing and voice-over, images. They are listed in the privacy policy. You can delete your account and your data at any time from the Delete account page.
Published files (raw takes, edits, dubbed versions) are kept for 14 days after all language versions are published, and the final version for 30 days. Unpublished files are kept for up to 120 days; you receive a warning email 7 days before deletion. Download any files you want to keep.
